| We've always tried to do
our part when asked for help with a charity, and this is no
exception, but this is indeed a bit different than what we've done
in the past. The non-profit organization,
Scaling
Barriers, helps bring musical instruments into the
lives of children, via the schools, whos families would've never
been able to afford it. But here's the kicker... Even if you don't choose to donate (donations can be in the form of musical instruments OR Financial donations to help cover: the cost of incorporation; filing fees with the State of Kansas and IRS; and the materials to refurbish and maintain instruments.), you can still enter to win this truly incredible, one of a kind, chain-mail blouse (shown below), provided by Scaling Barriers! Musical Blades will have this shirt displayed at all of our shows throughout the Kansas City Renaissance Festival run. For your chance to win, numbered tickets will be available at our shows, free of charge! At the end of the KCRF run (Oct 17, 2010), we will draw a number. That number will be displayed the following day here on our website. If the number on your ticket matches the number we've drawn, YOU WIN! It's that simple. As always, we would appreciate any donation that you can give, but even if you can't (we know times are tight), don't miss out on this awesome give-a-way! And at the very least help us spread the word of this non-profit organization. NOTE: This is a very high quality chain-mail shirt. 56,000+ miniature rings made of stainless steel. Size SM - SM/MED (size 10-14 probably). Come out to KCRF, see the Musical Blades, and check it out for yourself! :) The following is the official flier... And don't forget to check out the Scaling Barriers website for more information on this wonderful organization. |
