Civil War
This 1863 holster was made for my father for his birthday. It can be made for
right or left hip, and is made to authentic specifications from 8-9oz leather
and finished in black. The only thing about this holster that is any different
from the original is the high quality waxed thread used and the fact that I do
not stitch in the plug unless specified. ($5 more) Also, some of the holster
manufactured in this time had a US stamped into the lap, I omit this also in
favor of letting the customer finish it himself.
In the works are also cartridge boxes and other ammunition and cap pouches.
