What is Role-Playing and
D&D?
If you have no idea what role-playing and D&D is this is a great site for
information. It also helps clear up many common misconceptions about these
types of games.
- LARP's
What the heck is a LARP? Glad you asked. LARP is and acronym for
live-action-role-play, meaning, when playing these types of games no
longer are you limited to a few friends sitting around a table with pencil,
paper and a bag of dice. LARP's come in various flavors, but it seems most are
in a fantasy type settings (ala Dungeons and Dragons) where folk dress in
period garb and/or monster mask and swing padded sword at one another while
venturing through scenarios set by game masters. Learn more....

judge.

How to have a
great D&D campaign - Here are some suggestions on how to have a great
campaign based on non-game related activities. In theory, once you've
experience what a typical adventure would/should know it'll bring your gaming
to life. Some of it I agree with, some of it I don't, but it's worth a look.
- Can AD&D lead
to Devil Worship?
There's a comic out there called "now you're eighth level....". It portrays a
group of kids that, through AD&D, find Satanism and/or witchcraft and even
suicide. It's a humorous read in a way, but then again it's also kinda scary.
Not in a Friday the 13th sense of the word but, well,
you decide.
- Deaths door
house rules - An interesting way of dealing with death in an AD&D
campaign.
-
Knight of the dinner table - The longest running comic book on the
subject of games and gamers. The principal characters - B.A., Brian, Bob,
Dave, Sara and the dastardly Black Hands play numerous characters in their
role-playing games. But their essential characteristics and hilarious
interactions always shine through whatever roles they're playing.

recommended for forgotten realms fans.
